Dogs make me happy. I am a therapeutic foster parent which is a lot like herding cats. In my free time, I'm a freelance web developer, editor, and desktop publisher. I do hospice for elderly dogs: a dog can always put a smile on my face and these seniors deserve to live out the rest of their lives in blissful peace. My degrees are in Philosophy and Religion & Culture (studying varyious religious thought and practice throughout society and cultural traditions) and I particularly like books that bring up questions of belief and morality. My favorite genres are urban fantasy and science fiction especially with strong, intelligent heroines and/or dogs.
